Comments: MIRACLE WORKER!!! I went to Dr Downey with hallux-rigidus in my left foot. I had practically no movement at all in my great toe joint. Dr Downey told me that I could have a joint replacement. I didn’t know that was possible until then. He did the surgery, I had very minimal pain, and when the stitches came out 2 weeks later I was able to start wearing my own shoes. By six weeks I had NO pain and was waking normally. I can’t say enough good things about Dr Downey and his staff. I HIGHLY recommend him!
