Comments: I wish I could give more than 5 stars for my experience with Dr. Downey, Troy, and Hannah—if possible, I’d give them 8,300 stars! I came to Dr. Downey after enduring over a year of pain from an accident, as well as arthritis. As someone of a larger size, I had significant concerns about the surgery, knowing that it can present unique challenges. However, I knew I had found the right doctor when Dr. Downey sat calmly, crossed his legs, and reassured me with confidence: “I’m not worried about your weight. I know we can do this surgery and get you your life back.” I was instantly on board!
True to his word, Dr. Downey delivered. I am now 4 weeks post-surgery, and my ankle is healing beautifully with little to no pain.
I also can’t say enough about his incredible staff. Both Hannah and Troy were absolutely wonderful, keeping me informed throughout the process and addressing any questions or concerns I had with care and efficiency. Their support made a world of difference, and I’m deeply grateful for everything they’ve done.
If I ever need joint surgery again, there’s no question about where I’ll go. Dr. Downey and his team have my full trust and highest recommendation!
I am editing this review.....01/08/2025 I am now 3 months and 15 days post op. My ankle is amazing! It moves all around, there is no stiffness or immobility! The only issue which is expected is swelling and I was told it would take about a year to have little to no swelling. I am back on my walks.........feel confident in my foot and how strong it is! My family was so impressed by Downey and his staff that my wife also had a surgery with him. Again, amazing and 5 stars to him and his staff! I am so appreciative of this group of angels! If you are concerned with having something done to your foot....don't be....just call Dr. Downey's office and you will be just as elated as I am!
