Comments: I fell and broke my ankle a year ago and a clinic thought it was just a sprain. After huge swelling I went to my podiatrist who saw the breaks and after working 4 weeks to reduce the massive swelling he was ready to refer me to Dr. Downey. He did the surgery a few days later, tight ropes, screws,and plate - magic! I have full function of this ankle and no swelling. Even my other doctors and surgeons have looked at the xrays and surgery scars and comment what a great job he did. Yes, he did. Did I mention how incredible his staff is too?
