Comments: I can’t say enough about how GREAT Dr Downey is. My experience with him in the hospital exceeded all my expectations. Prior to surgery, he makes sure everyone completely understands the options. Just not the patient, but also family members in the room. He takes the time to explain and doesn’t make you feel like you are rushed. He makes sure all your medications are filled prior to being discharged so the discharge process goes much smoother. You will have all the equipment you need before you go home. He makes himself available whenever I needed him. He is at the hospital making sure everything is going well after surgery. The nursing staff respects him and makes sure his orders are followed. He is personable! He tells you what to expect when going home and when you need to see him again. He is a top notch surgeon and I would highly recommend him. Thanks for being so awesome, and I know you’ll continue to great things for all your patients.
