Comments: I have had two significant foot surgeries with Dr. Downey to deal with substantial issues related to my Arthritis. The surgeries included joint replacement, reshaping of numerous bones in my feet and other state of the art processes. I still have arthritis of course but before my surgery I could only walk for brief distances and today a little more than a year from my first surgery and about three months from my second ( both feet) I am able to walk up to three miles as I exercise. Dr. has established a PT program with a local facility to support my healing. Dr is supportive, informative and congenial and has always listened to concerns and offered feedback and positive direction. Foot surgery is a challenging experience and Dr Downey has made a very positive difference throughout the entire process. I highly recommend he and his staff to anyone with significant foot and ankle issues.
