Comments: I met Dr. Downey literally by accident, I awoke in the emergency room after 2 other doctors attempted to correct my injury. Dr. Downey introduced himself as a trauma surgeon which I thought was odd until he explained how bad I was injured. I had tripped over a plastic deer and dislocated all five toes, that's the accident part. The following day he performed extensive surgery to realign my toes and save my foot. The care, follow up and second surgery all were second to none.
